A SUSPECT attempted to escape officers by jumping out of a window as police raided a house in Latchford.
Cheshire Police executed a search warrant at an address on Henshall Avenue at around 9.45am on Thursday, May 26.
And a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent despite his attempts to flee.
Robert Lingley, of St Stephen’s Avenue in Longford, has since been charged with this offence and is due to appear before Chester Magistrates Court this morning, Friday.
Pictures posted on social media showed that the force had smashed through the door of the home before entering.
A spokesman for the constabulary said: “At 9.45am on Thursday, May 26, police executed warrant at an address on Henshall Avenue in Latchford. A 21-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and has since been charged.”
