TAKE a peek inside Warrington town centre’s newest coffee shop.
The former Build-A-Bear shop in Golden Square has been swiftly replaced with Jamaica Blue, a coffee shop that focuses on fine coffee and café dishes with a twist.
“We’re a coffee shop so people can pop in just for a coffee if they wish,” said brand operations manager at Jamaica Blue, Nerissa Bancroft.
“We also have a lunch brunch offering which I think is quite exciting about this brand as there is not much out there that does what we do apart from the independents.
“If you want a big brekkie at 5pm, you can have one. If you want a peri peri chicken burger or a prawn and mango salad at 9am, that’s what you can get."

The food is all prepared at the Golden Square store and made fresh upon order.
It is Jamaica Blue’s 13th site in the United Kingdom.
Nerissa, who has worked with the company for nine years, added: “Our coffee comes from the blue mountains of Jamaica and we have got two blends.
“The brunch aspect is available all day and it’s the ‘thing’ of the moment, it’s trendy, very popular and we do it well.
“We cook nice food well.”
Ian Cox, centre director, said: “It’s fantastic for us to welcome Jamaica Blue to Golden Square – its first store in the North West of England.
“The restaurant looks fantastic and has added lots of life to the corner of the centre near boots.
“The menu is delicious and offers our customers something a little bit different and indulgent when they visit Warrington and fancy a spot of brunch.”
