AN Asylum club night will provide an after-party following My Chemical Romance’s visit to Victoria Park later this month.
The night, featuring alternative, metal, pop-punk and emo music, will be spearheaded by Sean Smith, the former frontman of The Blackout who is coming straight to town after performing at the My Chemical Romance VIP area on Friday, May 27.
The event will combine both Friars Court and Friars Court 2 on Barbauld Street.
Also joining Asylum DJ Kyle on the night will be Liam & Bekki from Deadbolt Club, who perform at their own events across the United Kingdom.
"I've always needed to travel to Manchester, Liverpool or even London for a night where I can enjoy the music I listen to at home or at gigs,” said Lee Harman, founder of Asylum.
“By bringing Asylum back, we've re-established an alternative community in the town where there no longer was one. We've had regulars coming every month and bringing birthday cake in for people to share."
"I can't wait to bring the biggest alternative night to Warrington for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll never see My Chemical Romance in the town again, so let's have a party!"
More than 150 tickets have been sold for the after-party and entry is guaranteed with a £4 from https://bit.ly/3MdYBC4
