THE parents of misbehaving youths in one area of Warrington could be sent letters from police.
This is the warning from officers patrolling the Orford area after receiving reports of ongoing anti-social behaviour.
Chesire Police has stepped up patrols around Martin Avenue to combat the trouble which is making residents’ lives a misery.
Over recent months, officers have urged parents to keep tabs on the whereabouts of their children following a rise in yobbish behaviour, stating this ‘needs to stop now’.
In an update, the force’s Poplars and Hulme Police team said: “PCSO Pritchard has been on foot patrol around Martin Avenue this morning due to ongoing issues with ASB.
“If youths are identified, details will be taken and letters sent out to parents about their child's behaviour.”
Any issues should be reported to Cheshire Police by calling 101, or in an emergency by ringing 999.
