Warrington-born footballer shares heartening cancer update
WARRINGTON-BORN footballer David Brooks has announced that, having completed his treatment, he is now cancer free.
The former Birchwood Community High School pupil announced in October that he had been diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin Lymphoma after falling ill while on international duty with Wales.
As a result, he has been sidelined for much of the season but can now look forward to resuming his career with Championship side AFC Bournemouth.
