TWO bands based in and around Warrington will take to Reading and Leeds Festival this summer.
The festival, which takes place between August 26-28, will welcome alternative rock band Crawlers and Earlestown rockers The K’s.
Crawlers comprises Amy Woodall from Orford on guitar and Liv Kettle from Westbrook on bass.
Holly Minto, from Southport, is the lead singer and Harry Breen, drummer and saxophonist, completes the four-piece.
On their Instagram story, Crawlers – who play at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday – wrote: “Hard keeping this a secret. We have been wanting to play this festival for years because I always wanted to go but could never afford it. See you at Reading and Leeds guys.”
The K’s, also a four-piece band that play on the same nights, also took to Instagram to write:
“Absolutely buzzing to be playing Reading and Leeds in August.
“See you down the front.”
