TWO lanes are closed on the M6 northbound after a crash involving two lorries and a car.

The accident happened at around 8.10am on Thursday between junction 21 at Woolston and junction 21a at the Croft interchange.

The collision involved a Skodia Fabia and two lorries.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “There are not believed to be any injuries.”

Drivers are warned of long delays.

Congestion stretches back to junction 19 at Knutsford and there are queues leading to the Lymm interchange on the M56.

Lanes one and two, of four, are closed.

Travel time is around 30 minutes.
