A FAULTY connection to a cooker caused a kitchen fire in Latchford.
Firefighters were called to a property on Grange Avenue at 7.14pm on Monday.
Crews isolated a cooker and checked the surrounding area with a thermal imaging camera.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A small fire was caused by a faulty electrical connection to a cooker.”
One fire engine from Stockton Heath attended the incident.
