A TOWN centre barbers which aims to give back to the community is offering free haircuts to NHS workers and troops.
Barbers@, which is based at Cockhedge Shopping Centre, opened in November last year with the aim of being the ‘heart of the community’.
As well as NHS workers and members of the armed forces, Barbers@, which is owned by Stuart Measor, will also be offering free cuts to those who are seeking job opportunities and blue light card holders.
This is to thank the hard workers and help those with upcoming interviews to look their best.
The free haircuts will be offered throughout February and March and then 25 per cent off will be available to these residents.
Students will also be able to take advantage of the 25 per cent offer.
Stuart, who lives in Chester and has 16 years of experience in the trade, said: “We want to give back to the community one haircut at a time.
“All they have to do is give us a direct message or just pop in the store.”
Proof of employment or a job interview will be needed as well as student ID.
All free and discounted haircuts will result in a stamp on a loyalty card where after five haircuts you can get your sixth for free.
The barbers also provide a virtual queueing system which customers can join by downloading the ‘Barbersat’ app.
Local barbers are also be able to run their own businesses from the private booths.
