FOLLOWING a debut, sell-out event in November, Cookhouse Comedy Club returns to Warrington Market next month.

The event, which takes place on Thursday, February 10, boasts another line-up of award-winning comedians.

Scouse wit and raconteur, Bren Riley, will once again host the evening.

There will then be sets from rising star, David Eagle, followed by headliner Rob Rouse, a regular on TV shows including Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats, ITV’s Celebrity Juice, and John Bishop’s Only Joking.

Cookhouse Comedy Club host, Bren Riley, from Big Comedy UK said: “We’re excited to be involved in this new project as the market is a brilliant venue for live comedy. We had an amazing time when we were here in November and we’re looking forward to working with the team again and performing to a new audience.”

Cllr Tom Jennings, cabinet member for economic development and innovation said: “The first comedy club was such a success and a fantastic addition to the Cookhouse Live series, which will continue to expand in our award-winning market. I encourage everyone to book their tickets now to avoid disappointment and keep an eye out for all the exciting things coming to the market and Time Square this year.”
