Delays of half an hour reported on motorway in morning rush hour after crash
DELAYS of around half an hour have been reported after a crash on the M6 on the morning.
The collision occurred on the southbound stretch of the motorway between junction 21 at Croft and junction 21 at Woolston.
One lane of the carriageway was closed as a result, with queues tailing back to junction 23 at Haydock.
While the route has now been cleared after all traffic was briefly halted, travel time through the affected area is still roughly 30 minutes.
