WARRINGTON Hospital has again seen no new coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours.
This is according to the latest Covid-19 briefing published by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Thursday.
It means that once again as a result, the trust’s virus death toll to date remains at 595.
At present, 84 beds on the Lovely Lane site’s Covid ward are occupied by patients that have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 14 days or less.
Of this number, two are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
This is a fall of one patient in total since yesterday, although the number in the ICU has risen by one.

Moreover, a further 14 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from Warrington Hospital since yesterday after recovering from the virus.
This takes the trust’s Covid discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,857.
