NOW is the time to back Warrington's businesses in the run up to Christmas.
Uncertainty over Covid restrictions has seen a tough past few days for the high street.
A number of restaurants in the town have seen cancellations or a drop in bookings.
But the town is open for business in the run up to Christmas Day on Saturday.
The Warrington BID is backing a national BusinessBooster campaign to encourage people to shop local.
Amy Dawber, Warrington BID project manager, said: "Warrington Town Centre is open as usual, with all shops, bars, restaurants and leisure facilities ready to welcome you in the run up to Christmas.
"Businesses have suffered enough this year and we encourage people to shop local to help keep our local businesses going through these once again tough times.
"For yours and others’ safety, mask wearing is mandatory in stores and make sure you book your booster today."
Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced a £1bn funding deal earlier today for struggling businesses with each able to claim grants of £6,000.
No new restrictions will be introduced in England before Christmas Day amid the growth of the Omicron variant.
Warrington Business Improvement District (BID) are backing #BusinessBooster. A national campaign calling on the Government to support retail, leisure and hospitality sectors.
