The scene on Winwick Road
THERE has been a crash at the top of Winwick Road today, Thursday.
Traffic was queueing due to the incident on Winwick Road Northbound at the M62 junction nine for Winwick, which happened around 12.20pm.
Officers received a report a collision had occurred between a blue Vauxhall Crosslander and a blue Ford Fiesta.
No injuries were reported and the road was not blocked.
The scene was cleared by 1.10pm.
