CAN you help to give a child the perfect Christmas this year?

The Children's Adventure Farm Trust is running a campaign for people to donate selection boxes to give every child who goes to one of the parties at their base near Lymm a special gift.

Between Saturday and December 23 the charity will be bringing the fun of the festive season to the farm every day for children from across the north west.

They will get a present from Santa as well as a selection box.

More than 2,000 disabled or disadvantaged children are set to benefit from the experience this year and enjoy a Christmas to remember on a magical day out.

Helen Crowther, from the trust, said: "Each child will enjoy a range of activities, including meeting our animals in the Christmas Barn, festive crafts and marshmallow toasting around the campfire.

"They’ll also be treated to music, storytelling and games in our entertainment zone before following the Elf Trail around our Winter Woodland, ending with a magical visit to a Santa in his fully accessible Grotto where they’ll receive a bag of gifts and sweet treats.

"So many positive memories of Christmas, a day they will always remember."
