AN issue with one of Warrington’s swing bridges is causing traffic disruption in the town centre this morning, Tuesday.
Very heavy congestion is being reported in the Bridgefoot area due to problems with Chester Road Swing Bridge.
Traffic is also busy on Knutsford Road and Kingsway South as a result, with bus services affected.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for journeys.
Posting on social media, Warrington’s Own Buses said: “Due to an issue with the Chester Road Swing Bridge, there is very heavy traffic in and around the Bridgefoot area.
“Services may be delayed.”
