A MAN has been ordered to pay up more than £1,000 by a court for breaching coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
Spencer Williams, from Great Sankey, was caught by police while visiting Blackpool in March this year – at a time when Warrington was subject to tier four Covid-19 measures.
The 21-year-old admitted being a person living in a tier four area outside of their place of living without a reasonable excuse at Preston Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 10.
He was fined £842 and told to pay court costs of £90 plus an £84 victim surcharge.
Williams, of Cheddington Crescent, will be required to pay the total of £1,016 within one month.
