Drunken thug who headbutted woman during domestic incident is locked up
A THUG who headbutted a woman has been jailed.
Stephen Cross, from Orford, was handed 20 weeks behind bars at Warrington Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 2, after admitting assault.
The attack occurred during a domestic incident back in Latchford in August, which the court heard was committed ‘whilst in drink’.
His latest conviction also put the 42-year-old in breach of a suspended sentence order handed down by the same court in April for assaulting an emergency services worker after Cross, of Greenings Court, attacked a police officer the previous December.
He was also handed a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim for the next two years and told to pay £300 in compensation.
