WARRINGTON Town have set up a Crowdfunding page to support injured defender Mo Ali.
The centre-back – a summer arrival at Cantilever Park – suffered a serious knee injury in a home game against Buxton last month during his fifth appearance for the club.
Not only is the ACL injury set to keep him off the pitch for the rest of the season, but it will also affect the 27-year-old's livelihood as a self-employed driving instructor.
Ali must wait for availability within the NHS for the required operation, which costs a five-figure sum privately.
The club are aiming to raise £1,000 to support Ali and his family during his recovery.
