THE Prime Minister reportedly made a brief visit to Warrington this week.
Pictures captured at Warrington Bank Quay allegedly show Boris Johnson on a platform at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
A police convoy also travelled through the town’s streets on that afternoon, with roads including the Cockhedge roundabouts briefly shut The Tory conference was held in Manchester between October 3 and 6, and is believed to have taken the train back to London from Bank Quay Station following the conclusion of the four-day event.
Robert Wilson, who captured the photos, said: “Boris Johnson made an unannounced visit to Warrington on Wednesday, October 6, after the Conservative Party Conference at Manchester Central.
“He arrived at platform two at Warrington Bank Quay at 1.25pm to catch the Avanti Pendolino in first class, home to London Euston.
“The photograph shows Boris having his photo taken before departure while his new wife looks on – dressed in red, not blue.”
