AWARD-WINNING bread bakers Room Forty have announced their latest programme of bread baking classes taking place in Warrington.

Wannabe bakers can try their hand at baking croissants, pain au chocolat and viennese whirls at their class on Saturday, October 23 in Lymm Parish Hall.

And if guests want to learn to bake mini stollen and cantuccini natale (Christmas biscotti) which both make great gifts to share over the festive period, they can do so at the Christmas classes at Lymm Parish Hall on November 21.

They would be working with the bakers who helped Room Forty to be declared Mobile Baking School of the Year at the Manchester and North West Prestige Awards and they also won Best Baking Workshop Provider at the Northern Enterprise Awards 2019.

Jen Perry, proprietor of Room Forty said: “We are so very excited to be back running our hands-on classes again.

“We are particularly delighted to be announcing what will become a new regular class teaching how to make croissant and pain au chocolat and so excited about our Christmas classes which are always great fun.”

A spokesperson said Room Forty said: “Everyone should learn the addictive skill of making their own bread. We love showing people that it is easier and more fun than you might think. Why not buy a voucher for a class for a loved one and let them choose their own?”

Classes start at £65 which include the cost of all ingredients, samples of bread and nibbles to eat and copious quantities of tea and coffee.

Class participants also leave with recipes and the breads that they bake.
