A DEVASTATED family have paid tribute to their ‘loving’ son and little brother following his death.

Jordan Johnathan Allison, from Orford died on September 18 aged two years and four months and his mum, Linzi Allison is lost for words when describing how much of a loss he will be.

“There are no words to describe the loss. I can’t describe it,” she said.

“It’s very, very quiet and we’re just devastated.”

Jordan, the youngest of three children, was a very active and fun boy.

Linzi continued: “He was cheeky, funny, liked to be outdoors, he was very bubbly and had a contagious personality.

“No matter what mood you were in he would make sure you smiled. He was very loving.

“You would always find him with a rugby ball or a football and he loved going to the park.”

The family held a service in celebration of Jordan’s life on Monday, October 4 which involved all of his favourite things.

“We wanted anyone that knew him to be able to share a piece of his life with us and reflect his personality throughout the whole day,” said Linzi, who grew up in Woolston.

“He absolutely loved SpongeBob SquarePants. He used to ask for ‘Bob Bob on’ that was his phrase for SpongeBob.”

“It was very over the top with everything, we just went crazy with the decorating,” she added.

Jordan was due to start Playdays nursery in Woolston in September after he became more confident, but he passed away two days beforehand.

Linzi said: “Throughout Covid, we started him at Rugby Sprogs to get him involved with other children because he was quite shy when meeting people.

“That soon brought him out of his shell. He started to interact with all the kids that were coming out of Playdays, so I thought now was the right time to put him in a nursery.

“He was quite shy going in, but once he met the girls who would look after him he started to come out of his shell a little.”

Linzi wants Jordan to be remembered as a cheerful and happy boy.

“My mum said ‘he was a little man of few words but he always knew what he wanted and he would have a smile on his face regardless,” she said.

“I would like to say thank you to all those who made donations and gifts in Jordan’s memory just as there are too many to thank personally.

“I would also just like to thank the paramedics, the air ambulance and Alder Hey Children’s Charity because they did so much for him.”
