FEWER than 30 people are being treated for coronavirus at Warrington Hospital.
This is according to the latest Covid-19 update issued by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Friday.
At present, 28 beds at the Lovely Lane site are occupied by patients that have tested positive for the virus in the past 14 days or less.
Of this number, two are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

Since the start of the pandemic, 2,336 patients have been discharged from Warrington Hospital after recovering from Covid.
However, the trust’s coronavirus death toll to date stands at 529.
