WHEN you think of vending machines, you think of sweets, chocolates, crisps and maybe fizzy drinks.
You probably don’t think of eyelashes.
If you have ventured into the Golden Square in the last week, you may have seen Meggi Lashes’ vending machine by the pay station and exit.
This is the second of Meggie Morgan’s stations to be rolled out across the country – the other is in Birmingham – with two more on their way more towards Liverpool and Dudley.
Inside the machine, products such as lots of different styles of eyelashes, eyelash adhesives to stick your eyelashes on, mascara, lip glosses and more.
“They’re just so perfect. It means people don’t have to wait online, it’s the novelty of it as well it’s interesting to people,” Meggie, 22, said.
“Even for people who have never heard of my brand, it catches your eye when you go past.
“The best seller is our £5 mystery bags – you can get two products which on our website usually cost more than £5 including lipliners, eyelashes, lipstick, hair scrunchies, make-up headbands and more.”
Meggie is now based in Frodsham and with her business being online, having machines inside the shopping centre makes them more accessible in person.
The 22-year-old continued: “I just absolutely love the location. It’s not massive but it’s not small either. We get quite a few orders from Warrington so it just seemed like a great place to put the second vending machine because my lashes are quite popular in the area.”
“It’s so, so important to keep building the brand. We want to be up and down the country, we want to keep growing and growing.”
