WARRINGTON has been confirmed as the next stop for the National Heart Movement’s bus tour.
The iconic American bus will be visiting the town, providing an open-access, free to visit, community space and mobile workshop – creating a safe space for those who have been impacted by the pandemic.
Every person who visits the bus will have the opportunity to walk away with practical wellbeing tools that will 'underpin' the rest of their lives.
The Heart Bus will enable people to connect with others, experience the benefits of mindfulness and listening spaces and learn more about the technology of heart intelligence.
Confirmed dates and locations include Thursday, August 12 at the Golden Square and Friday, August 13 at Orford Park, Warrington and it is in conjunction with MoveMENt and Get Warrington Talking.

Ri Ferrier, managing director of Heart Based Living Initiative, said: “We are so excited to bring our Heart Bus to Warrington.
‘‘We want to respond to the isolation and suffering that people have experienced as a result of the pandemic.
‘‘We know that heart-based mindfulness practices can help, but they're not available for everyone and we want to change that.
‘‘The Heart Movement has a radical vision to bring free wellbeing resources to people from all walks of life.
‘‘We especially want to visit communities that have been impacted by COVID-19 and invite people to join us for a cup of tea, connection and a safe space for listening and kindness.”
Heart Bus visitors will have the opportunity to attend short workshops and taster sessions with experienced mindfulness facilitators.
Sessions to choose from include the science of mindfulness, listening spaces and an introduction to heart intelligence technology using biofeedback.
People can learn about breathing techniques to help calm the nervous system, and ways to cultivate happiness.
A visitor of the heart bus said: “Today the big yellow bus with the compassionate staff filled a void in my life - honestly!”
