Plans for new Italian restaurant approved
PLANS for a new Italian restaurant in Fearnhead have been approved.
The proposals for a second branch of popular Italian restaurant Pizzeria Donatello’s were approved by the council’s development management committee at the Town Hall on Thursday.
It has been a fixture on Orford Lane for more than 20 years.
But it will now be expanding by opening a new eaterie in Fearnhead, on Insall Road.
The scheme will see the former Ladbrokes bookmakers at Fearnhead Cross turned into the restaurant after an application proposing the change of use was passed by the committee.
