FIREFIGHTERS have voiced their frustration after being called out to yet another deliberate fire.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service personnel have attended a number of deliberate fires started across the town this week.
The latest occurred this morning, Thursday, in Orford.
The crew from Birchwood Fire station was called to Sandy Lane West at 11.48am after receiving reports that a wheelie bin had been set alight.
They arrived to find the remnants of the bin smouldering after being deliberately torched.
Posting on social media, Birchwood Fire Station said: “Crews attended a wheelie bin fire on Sandy Lane West in Warrington.
“This was a deliberate ignition and is the third deliberate fire Birchwood has attended over the past week in this area.
“A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire. The bin was completely destroyed.”
