Longford Street
MAJOR roadworks will take place in Orford from next week.
Five weeks of resurfacing begins on Monday on Longford Street from the A49 Winwick Road to Orford Lane.
The road will be closed from Orford Lane to Hale Street between 9.30am and 3.30pm, and closed from Cross Street to A49 Winwick Road between 7pm and 1am. All roads will be fully open to traffic outside these times.
Vehicular access will be under the control of the contractor on site. Vehicles parked on the road or footway obstructing the works may be removed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times during the works.
The signed diversion route will be A49 Winwick Road, Orford Lane and vice versa.
