FIREFIGHTERS were called to business site in Warrington yesterday, Tuesday, after reports of a possible chemical leak.
One fire engine from Lymm attended the scene on Grappenhall Lane, Stretton, and on arrival they found that a small quantity of unknown liquid had leaked from a tanker.
A small cordon was put in place as a precaution and firefighters worked with specialists to establish the nature of the liquid.
There was not believed to be any risk to the general public.
A thorough check of the vehicle assured no chemicals had leaked from the vehicle and no action was needed.
