WARRINGTON primary school pupils have recently completed their enterprise project ahead of the summer holidays.

St Wilfrid’s CE Primary School pupils finished the project which as based around recycling theme – taking into account global responsibility.

The enterprise project encourages children to understand the processes involved in management and team work.

This year, the staff were very impressed with the standard and diversity of the children’s product as well as the fact that they raised £1,000 in support of an important cause.

All money raised by the children will be going to the mental health charity, MIND.

The project culminates in a Dragon’s Den style presentation where two of the school’s governors, Mrs Mills and Mrs Jones and a former teacher, Mrs Priestley, had the difficult but enjoyable task of choosing the winning teams.

The most innovative design award went to team ‘Recycled Treasures’ and the overall winners were team ‘Poseidon.’
