ORGANISERS of the first dedicated vegan market in Warrington have shared further details of the event.

Vegan Market Co will be taking over Time Square with an open air pop-up event on Saturday, July 31, outside the market.

It will feature around 50 stalls including a huge variety of vegan street food, artisan bakes, vegan 'cheeses', handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts and charity stalls.

Vegan Market Co hosts events around the country but this is the first time it has been in Warrington.

All the stallholders have been handpicked for their ethical and sustainable businesses.

Lewis Beresford, Vegan Market Co's founder said: “We are so excited to be in Warrington for the first time. We work hard to find the country’s leading vegan producers, from street food vendors and bakers to ethical clothing and cosmetic producers.

"We also work with many businesses in the area and can’t wait to give all of these fantastic producers the platform they

deserve and introduce them to the wonderful people of Warrington.”

Vegan Market Co ran its first event in 2016 and now has pop-up markets in 40 locations.

The organisers even offset the carbon footprint from each event and plants a tree for every business that takes part.

The Warrington Vegan Market will be held on Time Square and will run from 10.30am to 4pm on Saturday, July 31. Entry is free.
