A SERIOUS accident involving three vehicles has left a man with serious injuries and closed Hollins Lane both ways in Winwick.
Officers were called to Alder Root Lane just before midday today on (Wednesday) following reports of a collision involving three vehicles.
A black Yamaha motorcycle, a blue Ford Fiesta and a yellow combine harvester were all involved.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries.
The incident is understood to have taken place outside of Leighs Animal Feed Store.
Road closures are in place at the junction of Alder Lane and Watery Lane.
