A FESTIVE light trail will be coming to Walton Hall and Gardens this winter.
Families can expect light tunnels, 3D projections, a wishing tree, a laser light maze and other interactive attractions when Luminate comes to Warrington between November 24 and December 24.
The magical 1.2km route will weave around Walton Gardens. Visitors will also be welcomed into a 'Christmas hub' where drinks concessions and festive street food stalls will be cooking up tasty treats.
In previous years, Luminate event has been featured at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and Margam Park in South Wales, a stunning country park and castle.
Daniel Maycock, one of the organisers, said: "We are really looking forward to bringing this magical event to Warrington and Walton Gardens.
"It’s a beautiful venue, perfect for an enchanting light trial. The event is something new and different for the area, we hope most people won't have seen anything like it before – and we can’t wait to open.
"We look forward to welcoming people to this captivating event over the Festive period and hope it becomes a favourite family tradition for years to come."
Cllr Tony Higgins, lead cabinet member for leisure and community, added: "I am delighted to welcome Luminate and their winter light trail to Walton Hall Gardens.
"I’m sure this event will become a family favourite for many years to come and will further enhance Warrington’s already outstanding festive events program."
