THE countdown is on for the return of indoor group classes at LiveWire centres across Warrington as lockdown restrictions continue to ease.

Sessions will relaunch at LiveWire leisure sites on Monday, May 17 with customers and staff ready to get started again.

Following confirmation from the government that the country will move to the next stage of the roadmap out of lockdown, indoor adult sports will also be allowed to resume, after gyms, swimming pools and tennis courts reopened last month.

LiveWire runs popular group exercise programmes for its customers including Les Mills classes like Body Pump, Body Combat and Body Attack as well as Zumba, yoga and pilates.

Commercial director Kevin Forester said: “We welcome the news that we can move to the next stage of restarting indoor leisure activities and Monday can’t come soon enough for both LiveWire as a leisure provider and our customers.

“We run a very popular group exercise programme with knowledgeable and passionate instructors and extremely enthusiastic customers.

“We’ve adapted these over the past year to reflect the changing restrictions for example launching our LiveWire @ Home virtual platform and running outdoor classes, but we are really looking forward to seeing our classes restart indoors at our sites next week.

“From the internationally-renowned Les Mills workouts, to our own classes, we’re confident our programme offers something for everyone, whatever their level of fitness or preferred type of exercise.”
