A SLIP road between the M6 and the M62 was closed by a crash this afternoon.
The link between the M6 northbound and the M62 eastbound at Croft was shut following an accident involving a motorbike shortly after 2.30pm.
While the biker has been rushed to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Queues were reported back to junction 21 of the motorway at Woolston as a result.
But the route was fully reopened at roughly 4.30pm.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Officers were called at around 2.40pm on Monday, May 10, following reports of a single vehicle collision involving a black Kawasaki motorbike at the Croft interchange.
"The rider of the motorbike, a man, was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
"No other vehicles were involved."
