A SUSPECT has been charged after a man was held in slavery for more than a year.
The victim was allegedly kept as a slave at an address on Bostock Street in Whitecross between June 2017 and October 2018.
Grafira Dambrausite has since been charged with holding a person in slavery or servitude following investigations by police.
The 30-year-old, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court this morning, Thursday, in order to face this charge.
