FORMULA One drivers such as Kimi Raikkonen will be using a Wilderspool Park-based sportswear company’s gear this season.

Built for Athletes has agreed a deal which will see it remain the official backpack supplier for the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN F1 team for the 2021 World Championship.

The ‘next generation’ Hero 2.0 bag follows a successful first year supplying top drivers with the Hero 1.0 model during 2020.

Built for Athletes’ award-winning backpack has space for 45l of goods, with the new bag incorporating new features such as two 750ml bottle holders and a full Velcro upper pocket.
