A GROUP of girls were threatened with a knife by a teenager in a park on Wednesday evening.
The five victims were approached by two teenage boys in Dakota Park in Chapelford shortly before 7pm on April 7.
One of the youths is believed to have brandished the weapon and reportedly threatened to stab one of the teens.
Cheshire Police say they have ‘identified’ two suspects in connection with the incident, but that its enquiries are ‘ongoing’.
A force spokesman said: “Officers received a report that at around 6.50pm on Wednesday, April 7, five girls were approached by two teenage boys in Dakota Park.
“One of the boys is believed to have threatened the girls with a knife.
“Two boys have since been identified in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident remain ongoing.”
