THE family of a teacher who went missing after going for a walk are appealing for any anyone who sees him to urgently contact the police.
John Curran was last seen after leaving his parents’ home on Francis Road in Irlam at around 7pm on Tuesday.
It is believed that the 29-year-old may have headed towards Warrington, with an unconfirmed possible sighting of him reported in the Chat Moss area.
His family are becoming increasingly worried about him and are urging anyone who sees him to contact the police urgently.
They have also issued a direct appeal for him to get in contact with them to let them know he is safe.
John is described as white, of large build, approximately 5ft 11, with short, dark brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark grey jeans and black trainers with white stripes.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police are also becoming increasingly concerned about John and want to make sure he is safe and well.
