SCHOOLS from across Warrington dressed to impress on World Book Day.
Many held activities with those children physically in school and for those learning from home.
And the costumes were as impressive as always with Harry Potter and Cat in the Hat in evidence.
Children at St Andrew's in Orford chose their favourite books to read.
While there was a range of activities at Sacred Heart in Whitecross.
Children came to school in pyjamas and brought their favourite book (children at home did the same and joined in lives via Teams).
And all children were involved in the potato challenge – making their favourite book characters using potatoes – some children also took part with a prize for the most creative entry.
