WARRINGTON Hospital has again seen a fall in the number of coronavirus patients it is caring for.
This according to the latest Covid-19 update provided by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As of this afternoon, Thursday, 82 beds at the Lovely Lane site are occupied by patients that have tested positive for the virus. Nine of the patients are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
A further 10 people have been discharged from Warrington Hospital in the past 24 hours after recovering from coronavirus.
This brings the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 1,803.

Sadly however, one more death has been recorded following a positive coronavirus test, bringing the hospital trust’s Covid-19 death toll to 471.
To date, the trust has conducted 67,357 Covid tests, with 5,090 returning a positive result.
