A dynamic sibling duo are hoping to supercharge the events industry, creating unforgettable memories for clients.

Square Fish Events is the creation of brother and sister team Neil Lofthouse and Steph Cooper originally from Woolston, which aims to connect, engage and excite customers with unique and unforgettable experiences.

The company will manage the whole scope of work required to create and produce events of all scales from curating live and immersive events to concept design and entertainment.

Having been impacted by the pandemic, Square Fish Events adapted its offering to include a virtual and engagement concept BoxSpoke.

This was designed so that regular Zoom meetings could be upgraded, virtual conferences could be up-levelled and businesses could send special thank you messages to their teams.

Each box is bespoke and designed to fit each specific brand, culture or brief with current customers offering branded keepsakes, gourmet treats and even live interactive experiences.

Square Fish Events has already delivered 3,000 boxes throughout the UK and Europe.

Neil, who has spent 10 years as a stage performer and then worked as an event producer in Australia and head of events at The Royal Albert Hall, said: “Square Fish Events is the culmination of countless conversations between me and Steph, where we realised that creating an events business was something we absolutely had to do.

“We’re completely blown away by the reception so far and what we’ve managed to achieve, even during lockdown.”

The former St Gregory’s Catholic High School students expanded Square Fish Events into a virtual events company, offering company updates and team engagement online, with wellbeing, mental health and fun at the forefront of everything they deliver.

Steph, who has spent 20 years as a recruitment business owner with a passion for people and entertaining and now lives in Penketh, added: “This is a dream come true, to work alongside Neil, and be doing something that we’re both passionate about.

“We wanted to create something unique that places family and family values at the heart of everything we do.

“We want to work with integrity and pride but also be bold and empower each other to take an idea and run with it.

“We’ve really enjoyed engaging with our current and prospective client portfolio so far and look forward to driving the business forward.”
