HERE is a list of some of the roadworks set to take place in Warrington during the next month.

  • Knutsford Road and Station Road, Latchford >

Work will take place to install new traffic lights and repair the carriageway.

The first phase will be March 29 until April 16 between 9.30am and 3.30pm and will see the footpaths closed.

On April 15, the road will close between 7pm and midnight.

  • Cockhedge roundabout, town centre >

Carriageway surfacing will take place from March 29 for five weeks between 7pm and 1am.

The work will take on the roundabout and for 100 metres along the following roads, A49 Lythgoes Lane; Battersby Lane; A57 Manchester Road; A49 Brick Street; A57 Midland Way.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route for A57/A49 (Cockhedge Green) roundabout will be via Cromwell Avenue, Sankey Way, Liverpool Road, Parker Street, Wilson Patten Street, Bridge Foot, Mersey Street, Fennel Street and vice versa.

  • Dam Lane, Croft.

It will be closed for one day on March 31 between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow BT to renew overhead cables.

The alternative route will be via Smith Lane, Smithy Brow and vice versa.

  • Hob Hey Lane, Culcheth

It will be closed for two days from March 29 between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow BT to renew overhead cables.

The alternative route will be via Wigshaw Lane, Common Lane and vice versa.
