Further Covid-19 patient dies at Warrington Hospital in past 24 hours
WARRINGTON Hospital has recorded another coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours.
Figures released this afternoon, Wednesday, reveal the Covid-19 death toll at the Lovely Lane site has now reached 462.
Despite this, the number of patients receiving care who have tested positive for the virus is falling, with 13 patients being discharged since yesterday.

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust now has 118 Covid patients in its care, 12 of which are in the intensive care unit.
To date, the trust has conducted 64,888 tests for Covid-19, with 5,023 returning positive.
