Roadworks are planned on Skyline Drive and Omega Boulevard
A KEY route in west Warrington is set for months of closures.
Skyline Drive will be shut from this evening, Friday, until Sunday night as part of ongoing roadworks in the area.
Provided that this work is completed on time, 11 weeks of closures will then begin on Omega Boulevard on Monday, January 18.
The road will be closed southbound between the junction with Lingley Green Avenue and Orion Boulevard to allow for the carriageway to be widened.
But the northbound carriageway will remain open.
Extra traffic is expected on Lingley Green Avenue and Whittle Avenue is expected as a result.
