AN outdoor beer garden in Stockton Heath which has been widely used in lockdown has been shut down.
Residents have been meeting outside the Wine Bar while it has been closed due to Tier restrictions and both the November and the current lockdown.
People have been enjoying coffees and takeaway food during the day.
Youths have also been seen gathering at night.
But after the latest national lockdown was announced on Monday, temporary barriers have been added to stop people using the site.
Government rules say while people can meet for exercise, it should only be two individuals and be limited.
People are also asked to restrict their exercise to once a day and not stop on benches.
Stockton Heath, Appleton and Appleton Thorn had among the highest rates of positive tests in Warrington the past seven days according to latest figures.
