FARMS in Warrington are bringing the streets of Penketh and Great Sankey to life with touring Christmas floats.

The teams are raising money for JUMP Children's Charity, Royal British Legion, British Heart Foundation and school projects.

Kirsty Towell from Hollys Farm in Penketh said: "Hollys Farm, Fowl Farm and Ditchfield Farm are bringing Santa, panto, the Grinch and Frozen to the streets of Penketh and Sankey all in aid of charity.

"Each farm uses their tractors and tailors to make an even bigger 'wow'!

"Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to do a house-to-house bucket collection.

"Our collection buckets will be in some of our shops, takeaways and Hollys Farm Shop.

"Nobody deserves to be lonely this Christmas so we are bringing Christmas cheer to the streets.

"We are unable to stop but you can join in and enjoy from the comfort of your front door or front garden."

The Christmas floats have been touring tonight, Friday, and will next be out on December 19 and 21.

They will also be visiting nursing homes in the area on December 22.
