POLICE discovered the remnants of a drugs farm in an abandoned house in Old Hall yesterday morning.
Officers attended a property on Cavendish Close on Monday, November 23, at the request of a housing association.
Equipment used in the cultivation of cannabis was found inside, with alterations having also been made to the building in order to grow the class B drug.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “We were asked to attend a property in on Cavendish Close in Old Hall with Your Housing that was insecure and believed to be abandoned.
“Upon entering the property, we found equipment and modifications to the house that had been used in the cultivation of cannabis.
“We are continuing to work with the housing association in order to develop intelligence and to locate the previous tenant in order to make further enquiries.
“If anyone has any information in relation to the address, please contact us on 101.”
