AIDEN Byrne's team at The Church Green have been busy working on the pub's new outdoor space during the second lockdown.
In response to all the Covid-19 restrictions around hospitality in the Warrington area, the Lymm venue led by the acclaimed chef has created a glass-fronted, all-weather space called The Pavilion.
The 'show-stopping' addition to the Higher Lane pub restaurant has a marquee-style canvas roof, mood lighting, outdoor heaters and a fire pit for December evenings with space for about 80 diners.
Work had just started on The Pavilion with the first pane of glass being installed when Boris Johnson announced the second national lockdown.
But the outside space is now described as 'up and ready' and Aiden, his wife Sarah and the team are simply waiting for the lockdown to lift.
Aiden said: "In anticipation of being open next month, we continue to adapt to the ever-changing guidelines with our newest investment, The Pavilion.
"We really hope that by expanding our outside dining area with a warm and friendly touch, we have created a show-stopping venue that the community and beyond can enjoy in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere."
