WARRINGTON Hospital has seen no further coronavirus patient deaths in the latest daily statistics.
The Covid-19 death toll at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust remains at 234 as of this afternoon, Wednesday.
And the Lovely Lane site has also seen a slight drop in the number of inpatients being treated for the virus.
In total, 164 patients who have tested positive are receiving care at Warrington Hospital – including 15 in intensive care.
On Tuesday afternoon, these figures stood at 167 and 17 respectively.
But the total number of coronavirus inpatients remains higher than at the peak of the first wave – which came in April, when there were 124 people who had contracted Covid-19 being treated at the hospital.
Since the started of the pandemic, 758 patients who had tested positive for the virus have been discharged.
